The TS EDCET 2023 examination was conducted on May 18, 2023, in three sessions. The preliminary answer key was released on May 23, 2023, and candidates were able to raise objections till May 25, 2023.

The TS EDCET 2023 merit list is prepared on the basis of the following factors:
- The candidate’s marks in the TS EDCET 2023 exam
- The candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination
- The candidate’s age
The merit list is divided into two categories:
- General category
- Backward classes (BC)
The candidates who have qualified in the TS EDCET 2023 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The counselling process will be conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
