Eligibility Criteria For Apply GATE Notification 2024

GATE Educational Qualification
- B.Tech/ B.E. / B.Pharm.: Completed or in the final year of a 4-year degree.
- B.Arch: Finished or in the final year of a 5-year degree.
- B.Sc.(Research)/ B.S.: Completed or in the final year of a 4-year Science degree or Post Diploma in Science.
- M.A./ M.Sc./ MCA or equivalent: Completed or in the final year of a Master’s degree in Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Computer Applications.
- Int. M.E./ M.Tech or Dual Degree: In the 4th/5th year or completed Integrated Master’s/Dual Degree (5-year course).
- Int. M.E/ M.Tech (Post B.Sc.): Completed Post-B.Sc. Integrated Master’s degree (4-year course).
- Int. M. Sc/ Int. B.S.-M.S.: Completed or in the final year of integrated M.Sc. or 5-year integrated B.S.-M.S. program.
- Professional Society Examinations (equivalent to B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Arch.): Completed Section A of such professional programs.
Age Limit
There is no age limit for GATE 2024 candidates. Qualification is the primary criterion.
Nationality
Both Indian and non-Indian nationals are eligible for GATE 2024.
Number of Attempts
Candidates can attempt GATE multiple times, with a validity of 3 years from GATE 2019 onwards.
General Eligibility
