Navodaya Class 6th Admission Form 2024: NVS is accepting online applications for Class 6 admissions for the 2024-25 session. Eligible candidates can apply on navodaya.gov.in until August 10, 2023. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2024 will be held in two phases: Phase I on November 4, 2023, and Phase II on January 20, 2024, both at 11:30 AM.

The JNVST 2024 result will be available in March or April 2024 on the application page. The admission process for the 2024-25 session will end on December 31, 2024. JNVST Class 6 Application Form 2024

Good news for students and parents who want to join Navodaya Vidyalaya in class 6. The admission process for class 6 has started on June 20, 2023. Parents can register their children on the official website before August 10, 2023.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya admits students based on a selection test. The first phase of the test will begin on November 4, 2023, at 11:30 am. Students who pass the test will be admitted, and parents can register their children by following the steps provided.

After being selected for admission in class 6, all of you students will have to fill some documents which are as follows –

• Proof for date of birth -The copy of Birth Certificate issued by competent
• Government Authority concerned.
• Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS.
• For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also have to submit a certificate from the competent authority to the effect that the child had studied class III, IV and V in an Institution/ School
• located in a rural area.
• Residence Certificate: The valid residential proof (as notified Govt. of
• India) of the parent of the same District where the JNV is located & candidate has studied class V shall be furnished.
• Copy of Aadhaar Card of the candidate: As per section 7 of Aadhaar
• act, 2016, the provisionally selected candidate has to submit the copy of
• Aadhaar Card to get admission under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme.
• Certificate by the Head Master of the school regarding study details of
• class III, IV & V.
• Medical fitness certificate.
• Undertaking for Migration
• Disability certificate (if applicable)

NVS Class 6 Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• To take Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, students studying in class V in session 2023-24 can apply.
• The aspirant must not have been born before 1 May 2012 and not after 31 July 2023.
• The district in which the aspirant is seeking admission, the aspirant must be studying in the same district.
• In Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test, the aspirant can apply only once, the application of the students applying for the second time will not be accepted. For more information about eligibility and criteria, please read the official notification.

Seats Reservation Criteria For Rural, SC/ST, Girls, Disabled Child

• 75% of the seats are reserved for within districts applicants selected from rural areas and the remaining seats are reserved for urban areas applicants of the district.
• Seats Reservation for SC/ST candidates in proportion to their population in the district, but not less than the national average.
• For Girls Students: 1/3 of the seats are reserved for girls students.
• 03% of seats are also reserved for disabled Children i.e. Hearing Impaired, Orthopedically Handicapped, and Visually Handicapped candidates.

JNVST Admission 2024 Selection Process

• The selection of students for Class VI & IX is prepared on the basis of marks secured in the Entrance Test.
• Class XI Admission Selection is done by lateral entry. The merit list is to be prepared on the basis of 10th-class marks secured by the applicant.
• Class 9 Lateral Entry: Based on performance in written test / selection test.
