This portal will distribute Rs. 5000 Crores to the rightful depositors of the Sahara Group of Cooperative Societies. On the same date, the Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah, launched the CRCS Sahara Refund Portal. Depositors who meet the criteria can apply for the Sahara Refund online through the website mocrefund.crcs.gov.in.

The Supreme Court of India (SCI) ordered on March 29, 2023, that Rs. 5000 Crores will be given to the rightful depositors from the Sahara-SEBI Refund Account. Therefore, the CRCS launched this portal on July 18, 2023, for the Sahara Refund.
