Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022 – Education Qualification

Name of the Post	Qualification and Experience
Civilian MT Driver (Ordinary Grade)	Essential:-   10th Std. pass. Must possess valid driving licenses for both heavy and light motor vehicles. Should have at least 02 years of experience in driving motor vehicles, and Knowledge of motor mechanisms (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
Fork Lift Operator	Essential:-     Certificate in the respective trade from ITI or other recognized institutions with not less than one year of experience in the trade OR 3 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in ITI or other recognized institutions. Should possess heavy-duty vehicle driving license. Desirable:- 10th Std pass. Knowledge of English.
Store Keeper Grade-I	Essential:-   12th pass from a recognized Board or University. Two years experience in handling Stores in any recognized firm or Central or State Government organization or Public Sector Undertakings. Or Bachelor Degree in Commerce/ Economics/ Statistics/ Business Studies or Public Administration as a subject from a recognized University or Institute. One year experience in handling Stores from any firm or Central or State Government Organisation/ Public Sector Undertakings.
Carpenter(Skilled)	Essential:-   Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or another recognized Institute. OR Should have 3 years of experience in the trade Desirable:- 10th standard pass. Elementary knowledge of English
Sheet Metal Worker(Skilled)	Essential:-   Should have completed an apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or another recognized Institution. Desirable:- 2 years experience in the trade.
Unskilled Labourer	Essential:-   Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards or ITI from recognized institutions. Three years experience in the trade.
Engine Driver	Essential:-   Certificate of competency as an Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent. Desirable:- Two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.
MT Fitter/ MT(Mech)	Essential:-    Matriculation or equivalent.  02 years experience in an automobile workshop. Desirable:- I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.
